Review process
1) For the review of each paper, at least two independent reviewers are assigned from outside of the authors’ place of affiliation.
2) In the case of texts composed in a foreign language, at least one of the reviewers is affiliated with a foreign institution different from the nationality of the author / or one in which the selected language is a first language.
3) Each of the reviewers is requested to supply a statement that there is no conflict of interest between him and the author/authors. What constitutes a conflict of interest is:
a) direct personal relations (kinship, legal relations, conflicts),
b) relations of professional subordination,
c) direct scientific cooperation in the two years before the review.
4) The review is formulated in written form. It contains:
a) an enumeration of faults and addition of comments in the text,
b) a completed review form with the conclusion of an unequivocal decision whether the paper is permitted or denied publication,
c) explanation of the conclusion.
5) The AGL review form may be found on the website of the journal.
6) The journal makes the list of the reviewers taking part in specific issues public information. The names of the reviewers of specific papers are not revealed.
