TYTUŁ ORYGINALNY: Remarques sur l’étagement des processus morphogénétiques dans les Carpates au cours de la dernière glaciation
Autor omawia problem piętrowości procesów morfogenetycznych w Karpatach Polskich w czasie ostatniego zlodowacenia. Na podstawie analizy osadów, szczątków flor kopalnych i współczesnych cech klimatycznych, przedstawia graficzny obraz oscylacji pięter klimatyczno-florystycznych i geomorfologicznych. Wskazuje na zmienność pionową zasięgu form peryglacjalnych, pokryw stokowych i rozwoju dolin w zależności od przesuwania się granicy lasu i linii wiecznego śniegu. Opracowanie pozwala lepiej zrozumieć zróżnicowanie form i osadów w Karpatach oraz ich zmienną dojrzałość i miąższość. Autor podkreśla znaczenie oscylacji pięter morfoklimatycznych dla interpretacji rzeźby górskiej w okresie plejstocenu.
