This paper aims at evaluating the relationship between selected macroeconomic indicators and household expenditure on culture in Poland. The period under study was 2000–2017. Data provided by the Central Statistical Office were analysed with the use of indices of structure, dynamics and correlation coefficients. There was an increase in the analysed types of household expenditure on cultural goals both in nominal and real values with simultaneous changes in the structure of this expenditure resulting, among others, from the digital transformation. The analysed expenditure grew with the increase of the GDP per capita and the decline of the unemployment rate. However, the share of the studied types of household expenditure on culture in family budgets decreased in the period under study.
