ORIGINAL TITLE: Structures périglaciaires dans les loess de la Pologne
The loess deposits of Poland were formed under cold-climate conditions and commonly contain periglacial structures such as frost cracks, ice wedges, solifluction lobes and involutions. Analysis of their typology, distribution, and stratigraphy enables the reconstruction of paleoclimatic variability during the last glaciation, indicating multiple oscillations between continental and oceanic climate phases. These structures serve as important indicators of the Pleistocene climate, allowing stratigraphic correlation of loess deposits across different regions of Poland.
