At Gąski, near Ciechanów in Masovia there is an exposure 80 m. in length and 6,5 m. in depth, showing deformations, the maiority of which assume the shape of columnar involutions. Investigation of a vast part of the surrounding region permitted to define the age of the structures as corresponding to the final phase of the interstadial preceding the Mława-Stadial which is the last stage of the Middle-Polish glaciation. The time-period that was needed for their formation was defined as involving 100 years.
