ORIGINAL TITLE: Le profil du loess à Nieledew sur le Plateau de Lublin à la lumière de l'analyse de minéraux lourds
This paper presents the results of a heavy mineral analysis of three loess series of different ages from Nieledew. These series are characterised by varying proportions of specific minerals and by differences in their grain sizes. The obtained results and their comparison with other loess profiles on the Lublin Upland suggest that the loess facies has a decisive influence on this mineralogical differentiation. The effects of weathering processes in the fossil soils and in the recent soil within the Nieledew loess are relatively weak.
