An abundant occurrence of ice-wedges was observed in the Kutno terminal moraine near Sławęcin (Middle-Polish glaciation). The wedges were studied in the vertical sections as well as in the plane. The fissures in which the wedges are formed display a network pattern. The wedges themselves and the adjacent portions show such traces of the expansive action of ice as shoved boulders and effects of frost weathering.
