Mikrorzeźba tufurów w rejonie Moore Hause w północnych Penninach, Anglia

W Wielkiej Brytanii istnieje bardzo niewiele wzmianek o tufurach, co wynika zapewne z ich rzadkiego występowania. Z tego powodu postanowiono zbadać mikrorelief pola fufurowego położonego powyżej 670 m n.p.m. na terenie rezerwatu Moor House (północne Penniny, Anglia). Po ogólnym przeglądzie zagadnienia przeprowadzono szczegółowe badania dotyczące rozmieszczenia, wielkości, morfologii i roślinności tych pagórków na dwóch kontrastujących stanowiskach w obrębie rezerwatu. Analiza możliwego pochodzenia potwierdziła, że te pagórki są formami peryglacjalnymi typu thufur.
